About Dr. Katarzyna Marcinkiewicz

"Katarzyna is a Senior Editor at Nature Communications, which she joined in April 2020, following three years on the editorial teams of Nature Structural and Molecular Biology and Nature Biotechnology. She obtained her Ph.D. from Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences in New York City, studying epigenetic changes in cancer. During her postdoctoral training at New York University School of Medicine, her research focused on cellular senescence. Katarzyna handles submissions in structural biology, biophysics and biochemistry, with a particular focus on membrane proteins and protein folding."
