About Dr. Robert Laprairie

Dr. Robert Laprairie is an Associate Professor and the Saskatchewan Research Chair in Drug Discovery and Development in the College of Pharmacy and Nutrition at the University of Saskatchewan. The focus of his research is the molecular pharmacology of cannabinoids and cannabinoid receptors. He was the 2018 and 2021 recipient of the Young Investigator of the Year Awards from the British Pharmacological Society and International Cannabinoid Research Society (ICRS), respectively. In 2019 he became the Director of Education for the Canadian Consortium for the Investigation of Cannabinoids (CCIC) and now also serves as the organization’s President.
