Dr. Kevin Pfleger and Dr. Elizabeth Johnstone were awarded one of the 2022 Diabetes Research Grants at the World Diabetes Day Breakfast!
"Congratulations to Perkins Professor Kevin Pfleger and Dr Elizabeth Johnstone who were awarded one of the 2022 Diabetes Research Grants at yesterday's annual World Diabetes Day Breakfast!
This $60,000 grant from Diabetes Research WA will assist the Perkins' Molecular Endocrinology and Pharmacology Laboratory team who are investigating new ways to tackle the disease-inducing chronic inflammation that is linked to type 2 diabetes."
